A cookbook is often essential for a young couple who just got married. Oftentimes, this is the first time the two have been out on their own, and they don't know a thing about what to do in the kitchen. Giving a wedding cookbook filled with simple recipes suitable for the new, small family as a gift will help the two when in doubt.
Insert the pages into the sheet protectors to keep them safe from food droppings while the couple is cooking. Place them in the three-ring binder according to type of food. Include the dividers to separate each section for easy navigation.
Sort the recipes by kind. Type them all up and print them. Do only one recipe per page. If you do not have access to a computer, you can choose to handwrite the recipes. Make sure it is legible for the recipients to understand.
Wrap the cookbook in a shirt box, and give it to the newlyweds on their special day.
Gather recipes from the families of the bride and groom. Get a little of everything ... appetizers, soups, main dishes, side dishes and desserts. Make certain they are complete directions and have the correct portions of ingredients included.
