"Just a Friend 2002" is a song by American R&B singer Mario, written by Warryn "Baby Dubb" Campbell, Harold Lilly, John Smith, and Biz Markie. It is a loose cover of Markie's hit "Just a Friend" and was the first single released from Mario's self-titled debut album. Mario's version is different, as the story is changed from a man who discovers his girlfriend has been cheating on him to a story about unrequited love. Produced by Campbell, the song was released in April 2002 and peaked at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in August 2002.
So what are they. Are they just dating? Are they friends? I know Bowser kidnapped Peach to marry her, but is that cause Mario doesn't want his girlfriend to get married or is it just cause he's a giant turtle? Why does Mario feel the need to stop this wedding... Peach in a sense doesn't seem to mind. Doesn't stop Bowser from setting all this up.
Question, folks. How do you play against just friends online in MK7? Me and a friend have been sat on the Friends/Opponents screen for a while, unable to join each other. So far as we can tell, it'll only let us join if one of us goes into a worldwide race and it happens to have enough empty spaces in for them to join too. But nearly all the games I've joined so far have had the full compliment of seven other racers... so it's not exactly a reliable way of going about it.
We could build a community for ourselves, but that seems wasteful and other people can't join us that way with faffing around sharing --Friend-- Community Codes (which I thought the 3DS was beyond doing).
Unfortunately, you have to create a community. My friend and I had the same problem as you, and the only thing we could do was create our own community. At least your 3DS friends can join you in the community without needing to input any codes; just connect to your community and your friends can hit "Join Friend" on their 3DSes to add the community to their lists,
@Raylax: if you play Worldwide long enough, you'll wind up playing together with your friend(s). it usually takes a couple races for everyone to join up together as others drop out or quit, give it time. :3
The song "Just a Friend 2002" by Mario is about a man who is interested in a woman and wants to take their relationship to the next level. He wants to get to know her on a deeper level, including her name, if she's in a relationship, her number, and what she likes. The man seems to be confident in his abilities to please the woman and wants to be more than just friends.
However, the woman keeps insisting that they are just friends, even though the man believes they have a deeper connection. He is frustrated that she won't give him a chance. Despite her refusal, the man is persistent and confident that she will eventually see that they are meant to be more than friends.
Multiplayer games began as purely local events. If you wanted to play with, or against, your friends, there was no other option than to get together either at someone's house or, if you're going even further back in time, at a local arcade. While playing locally is still a great way to play, it isn't always an option. Online multiplayer is not only more convenient most of the time, but it has become the norm for nearly all modern multiplayer games.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is not only one of the most popular games on the Nintendo Switch but also one of the best games to play with friends. This fun racer is appropriate for gamers of all ages and skill levels, making it just as popular today as it was back when it launched on the WiiU. Thanks to online play, the competition never has to end. However, Nintendo has yet to really make its online service as intuitive as it is on other platforms, leading to some confusion about how to party up with your friends. If you want to do some laps with your friends online in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, here's how to set it all up.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is great fun alone, but eventually, playing against the AI will get stale. That's when playing against your friends comes in to add some much-needed variety and challenge to your races. When friends are far away, though, local multiplayer isn't an option, and you need to jump online to burn some rubber together. Here's how to get set up to play with friends online in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
In addition to regular races and cups, you can also host Tournaments online with your friends as well. This is done just like creating a lobby, only Tournaments will require a code that you pass along to friends in order for them to join you.
Mario and friends have chased down Peach to Marrymore late into Super Mario RPG. It isn't Bowser who has her in his clutches this time, but Booster, who intends to marry the princess against her will. After busting into the church to call things off, Peach's crown and other accessories will be scattered across the chapel. You will need to find every last missing item before the ceremony begins, but they aren't all in plain sight. Here is where to find Peach's crown and all her other accessories in Super Mario RPG.
Where to find all of Peach's accessories
Aside from her crown, you will need to find her shoes, ring, and brooch as well.
Peach's crown location
The crown is the easiest to find since it will be in sight right away. After the collision, the crown ends up resting atop Booster's head standing at the altar. All you need to do is jump on top of him to get it back.
Shoes, ring, and brooch locations
The other three items weren't dropped on the floor, but havebeen collected by Booster's Sniffits. These quick little dudes will be running in patterns around the church and pews, so you need to intercept and speak to each of them. Just talking to them will do the trick -- you don't have to engage in a fight -- so just mash the talk button as you approach.
Make your way past the password puzzle and the subsequent boss, then continue forward until you reach a segment of the ship wherein many sections are underwater. You can take the whirlpools here to reach the bottom level, so do just that and continue pushing forward.
If your dad is one of the world's most famous chefs, what would you give him for a 50th birthday present?
Leo and Benno Batali (ages 14 and 16, respectively) decided to make their very own cookbook with all their favorite recipes for their dad (a guy named
Mario, if you couldn't guess) and enlisted their mom (
Susi Cahn) to take all the photos on her iPhone. It began as just a family project, but the Batalis being Batalis, the book was better than they even intended, and The Batali Brothers Cookbook ended up getting published in May of this year.
The boys made the book as a birthday present, but we thought that the idea--cooking at home for your dad, and documenting it with whatever camera you've got on hand--was perfect for Father's Day. So we asked Mario to see if his fellow dad friends could shoot some family cooking sessions over the past couple of weeks, and send us what they've got. So here, for your heartwarming enjoyment, are some of Mario's buddies (just guys like
Marc Vetri,
Joe Bastianich, and
Jose Andres, nbd) hanging out and cooking with their kids. Warning: Cute overload may result.

Thanksgiving used to be my favorite holiday but it has become very complicated with family matters and also my sister just basically won't eat turkey now. I mean, is turkey wonderful? Not really. But it's a tradition. You put it with some dressing, gravy, and mashed potatoes & you're good. But we're having Thanksgiving at my house and I'm doing ham to please them (despite the blasphemy). Holidays just aren't like they were when I was younger.
I am officially writing to you from that Cast-Free Life and we have SO MANY TREASURES to catch up on, we need to just jump right on in. It’s a hot one today, friends. I am so glad to be back in your inbox, so thankful to take a shower with no Target bag on my arm, and so happy that my favorite holiday (Thanksgiving but make it not about colonizers!) is on the horizon. I do need to know, for my American readers: are you a “skip Thanksgiving season and go straight into Christmas” type of person, or do you fight for the right for Thanksgiving to have its place in our hearts? Your body, your choice, of course, but I find myself fatigued by Christmas if I don’t give Thanksgiving its proper due. But as always, I would never romp on your ding-dong. I do think this problem could easily be solved if we just moved Thanksgiving to when the Canadians celebrate (early October), but so far no one is asking me. I remain available for consulting on this matters.
⛱️ I loved Nate Bargatze on SNL last week, but I thought he really shined in his monologue. Lake Beach also tickled me because I’ve lived in two land-locked places in my life and it’s just extremely accurate, right down to the diaper floating in the shallow water.
🫶 If you find yourself with a little extra cash on hand this weekend and you’re looking for a way to share love with a stranger, may I point you in the direction of my dear friend, Darrell? I think I’ve mentioned this before, but Darrell is one of my actors from camp days with the biggest heart and one of the most gorgeous voices you’ve ever heard. His sweet momma experienced a medical emergency last month that knocked them both down, but not out. You can read their story here, and even if you can’t give, I know he would appreciate all the Lil Swipe love and good energy and prayer just as much.
The secret to all of the Tuscan bread soups, is recycling the unsalted stale bread. It is hard to find outside of Tuscany and hard to recreate the texture. The stale bread, when soaked in liquid, crumbles into grains like couscous. In America, I find that unseasoned croutons are the closest thing we have to a real stale bread. When I first learned how to make ribollita, they also gave the recipe to make the Tuscan bread to let it go stale. Think about it! Perhaps just toasting some country-style bread would also change the texture.
