Hi Nitin

I am using xadisk running in Weblogic within a webservice, where we will be clustering several server instances per physical machine.
I would like to know what steps I need to take, if any, to make xadisk safe within this environment.

Currently, I am booting just 1 XAFileSystem instance per JVM. Across all JVMs in the cluster the instance-ids will be the same. Is this safe?

Thanks

Phil

Hi Phil,

The instance-ids for instances running on different JVMs may be same in a cluster.

Probably you already read this - there is a small chapter named "Clustering XADisk" in the user guide (https://java.net/downloads/xadisk/XADisk%201.2.2%20User%20Guide.pdf) which you can refer to.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks,
Nitin
