Good morning,

I'm opening this new thread in order to understand if, based on this post regarding the GitHub porting, there is the possibility to have a new artifact relase on Maven central (1.2.3?) in order to use the last commitment of the project.

Thank you very much in advance.

Stefano

Hi Stefano,

Sorry for delay. I used to create releases periodically from the current source after some testing and other steps. It has been long (2013) I created the last release, 1.2.2. That one is available on maven.org. After that release, there were very few commits. I think you can continue with 1.2.2 for maven. If you need to apply specific code change on that, you can create a local copy of the artifacts.

I realize such requirements to use latest source. In coming months, I will try to generate a new release (with stable tested code) so that the latest code is usable as release 1.2.3.

Thanks,
Nitin

The comparison between an internal jar based on 1.2.2 (we have produced a new jar with four numbers like 1.2.2.X with some bug fixes that a collegue of mine has communicated years ago) and sources founded on GitHub (1.2.2 directory https://github.com/nitin-verma-github/xadisk/blob/master/1.2.2/XADisk%201.2.2%20Source.zip) shown, unfortunatelly, a different scenario. Indeed, I have found several differences on both sources in terms of business logic, meanwhile, a comparison between last snapshot on GitHub and our jar shown that, sources from snapshot contains all the commitment (bug fix, etc.) and introduce new logical steps (few differences).

I have attached the diff file 1.2.2 vs local and the second one with snapshot.

At this moment I can continue to use my actual jar library for the future the idea should be "pointed" to the new version on maven central when it will be deployed.
