Hi, I'm relatively new to xAct, currently I am working in perturbations of a spherical background via ReggeWheeler in a Horndeski theory.

I'm wondering if the harmonic notebook is up to date with the recent xAct version because I download the notebook from the xact webpage and there are some errors in the evaluation. Also, if there are any examples of any additional harmonic package documentation, I'd be very grateful if someone could tell me where to find them.

Cheers,
Álvaro.

Hi Álvaro,

I guess you have already looked at gr-qc/0607025, where the package Harmonics is briefly described in the last appendix. I'm afraid we didn't write more documentation than that and the Harmonics.nb notebook itself.

I just tried to Get the package with the last version of xAct and there are no errors, so I think the package is still functional. I also evaluated the definition notebook and I indeed got some harmless-looking errors, like the fact that a function Laplacian is defined, but now there is a Laplacian symbol in Wolfram Language. This requires a renaming. Thanks for pointing this out.

Cheers,
Jose.
