Problems with installing xAct (Windows 11, Mathematica 11.0)

Dear community,

I am trying to install xAct, yet I am running into difficulties as any package cannot be opened, no matter where I place the package. I followed the instructions given in the conversation from April on this topic but to no avail. I also tried to forcefully use the SetDirectory[] command, even going through any subfolder separately. Can anybody offer advice, this would much appreciated.

Hi,

It's difficult to help without more information. Can you send me (privately if you prefer) a notebook with the outputs or messages you get when trying to load xTensor for example?

Do you have similar problems installing other Mathematica packages?
