Equation of Motion for f(G) gravity

i am fresh starter and want to know how to code the Einstein Field Equation  for modified Gauss Bonnet gravity.

I'd recommend to start by having a look at what has been discussed in other threads about f(G) or Gauss Bonnet in this forum.

Also have a look at the notebooks in https://github.com/xAct-contrib/examples . Some of them deal with variations, and may be useful to you.
