to xAct Tensor Computer Algebra

Hi, Is there any way to work with metric variation in arbitrary d dimension? I have been looking into the example and discussions on f(G) gravity, Gauss Bonnet gravity but could not find any way to do. xCoba seems to work with constant dimension. If anyone has done this before, kindly help.
