Dear Mitica,

I have a problem with Fullsimplifation[] in one case. I follow all the structure completely and my xAct folder is complete, yet this command does not run, giving me: "Message[RInv::nodatabase]".
I will send you my problem that I can not find its issue [1]. I also send you the pics of my xAct [2] and Riemann 2 []folders to say that there is no problem with my folders, at least I think so. I untarred both "Riemann_expand4order12.tar" as well as "Riemann.tar" in the direction mentioned. At the end I should say that FullSimplification works in other cases and I could not find where the problem is.
Could you please help me?
Best wishes.
Asghar

Dear Asghar,

I'm also new to xAct, so I'm afraid that I couldn't help you with your problem. In fact, when I tried to run your notebook file, I faced the same problem as you. You may ask others to see if there are any good solutions.

P. S. Sorry for the late reply, I've been a little busy lately and didn't get to read your letter in time.

Best wishes.
Mitica

Hi,

What do you get if you evaluate this variable after loading the Invar package?

    xAct`Invar`$InvarDirectory

This should point to the directory where the Invar.m file and Riemann folder are. In my case for example I get this:

    In[17]:= xAct`Invar`$InvarDirectory
    Out[17]= "/Users/jose/Library/Mathematica/Applications/xAct//Invar"

I just run your example in my xAct installation and returns a result without error messages.

Is perhaps something encoded incorrectly under Windows? I wonder whether the double slash (which should not be there) is unacceptable under Windows...

Cheers,
Jose
