Canterbury half day cruise?

So... after the magnificent turnout at the CFLC track day (I had no
idea that there were so many exxy's in Christchurch, let alone that
many with wof and reg!) I propose that we further terrorise the
denizens of Christchurch with a half day cruise from the city to
Governors Bay via Sumner, and then back through either Gebbies pass or
the summit road...

We can stop for lunch (or a pint at least) at the Governors Bay tavern
if that suits.

I have done this one before with oldschool.co.nz and there are more
than enough twisty bits of road to have plenty of fun...

Gather about 10am, blather for a while, drive, take in some of the
views from the lookouts on the way (code for fix broken exxys at the
roadside).

Grrrr, id be there if I wasnt stuck in Jaffa-land...

turnout was a great start and totally impressive to see so many Exxys

I think I am going to have to cry off this run also. At the moment I
can't get mine started and I need to pull the fuel tank and fix a leak
- have a friendly mechanic with a hoist lined up but it'll be a
Saturday job.
