Extra Credt Assignment

In light of the volume of material that was given in section three of
this class (Dan's section), every minute of free time was given to
reviewing the lecture slides, working the book problems, redoing the
class quizes, and preparing for the exam by going over the test topics
list(s) that Dan made available.
Even though several students requested a copy of the 'extra credit
assignment' no one turned it in at the end of tonights exam. No one
had time to complete it! Speaking for the students that needed the
extra credit assignment (myself included) and were grateful one was
made available, it was not possible to hand it in the day of the
exam. There was just too much material and everyone was focused on
performing well on the last exam and therefore studied that material
only. Personally I did absolutely nothing but study since Wednesday
(after geting off of work) and was beating myself up for not being
able to complete the extra credit assigment. It was an unrealistic
expectation to be able to hand it in at teh final.
The goal of the extra credit assignment was to show that we understand
the material for the first two sections. While that may be true, none
of us had a chance to prove what we know. I do not know why the
timeline was so dang tight and we already felt pressure to master the
material from section three.
Can we have another chance to hand it in? I mean both Annie and Dave
went through the trouble (and were gracious enough) to put someting
together for us. So is there a way we can get it to you sometime this
week?
