posting a few PDF papers, including the original Watson and Crick
paper, a review of Meselson and Stahl, and a narrative on how
telomerase was discovered. The last paper really conveys the insight
that goes into major discoveries are made, and the excitement
surrounding them.

There were some questions yesterday on whether or not one could stop
telomerase expression in cancer cells and get them to stop dividing.
Here is a press release from 2002 from UC Berkeley on such an
approach.
