On Ubuntu Gutsy 7.10

I had alot of problems updating to 8.02 version from the 8.01. No
matter what I did to undo everything done to install 8.01 I couldnt
get 8.02 to install on the machine and still have 3D working after I
had already installed another graphics driver. If someone would be
willing to put a good upgrade guide or uninstall procedure that would
work correctly that seems to me to be needed. Btw, after reinstalling
Ubuntu Gutsy I got the closed source fglrx 8.02 to work great
following the manual install instructions. So it has to be a leftover
file or config thats causing the problem. Thanks

Hi bsmith

thats why we create distro packages to install the FGLRX driver,
so that we can uninstall them cleanly.

fglrx v8.02 release had broken 3D. The cchtml guide is pretty
comprehensive & definitive as well.

If you have any specific issues, or something missing from cchtml, lets hear it.
