Hi everyone,

Is XAA the 2D that is newly supported by radeonHD ?

glxgears is weird with today's git release
fluctualtes between ~540 - ~630 FPS
glxgears uses the cpu entirely as well

but, the cpu usage with radeonhd is different from fglrx & radeon
since its dual core, with other drivers it cyclically switches cpu
with glxgears,
but with radeonhd its using the same CPU throughout the glxgears run
weird ?

I have attached the xorg.log (logverbose 7), anything interesting ?

There was a large batch of commits to the radeonHD tree this morning.
And for the first time I'm seeing a proper signal (720p) on a HDTV
connected to the HDMI output of an ASUS M2A-VM HDMI mobo. Very
nice.

Using the new driver in my particular setup (HDMI to HDTV) I find that
the deduced monitor resolution is very wrong (ca. 2000 dpi) which
causes the gdm login screen and mythtv to choose humongous fonts. I
added `Option "DDC" "No"' to the Monitor section of my minimal
xorg.conf to get things to work. Otherwise, things seem OK so far.
