The Streamlink_Portable files in Complete package was outdated, so some platforms doesnt work furthermore with it.

But it was updated now. Please download the Complete package again.

(The Complete package has Streamlink Version 1.7 included)

If you just want watch Twitch, Youtube eg. it's recommended to download latest Streamlink version from here: 

https://github.com/streamlink/streamlink/releases/

I have quite the same problem. 

I have the updated vlc, .NET Framework 4.0 , Streamlink 2.3.0, Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package, livestreamer-v1.12.2-win32, and RTMPDump but cant seem to load the stream. please help. I'm using windows 10.

There are sometimes troubles with Youtube videos. Streamlink support Livestreams from Youtube.

To download Youtube videos it's recommended to use youtube-dl.

youtube-dl.exe is included in complete package. Located in folder \Streamlink
