Software Testing Engineer-Data Center Ethernet Team
Manual Testing+ Automation
Experience: 4 to 9 Years
Bangalore Location
Job Description: Candidate will be responsible for running Manual Testing, debugging, testing and automation of software features for Layer-2/Layer-3 switch. Should have good debugging skills and automation skills. Will be responsible for analyzing test results, problem reporting, recreation, and verification
1. Designing test plan with inputs from functional spec or related documents
2. Execution of Manual test cases
3. Automation/Manual of test cases with TCL/Perl Preferred.
4. Usage of traffic generators like IXIA, Spirent and other third party tools
5. Evaluation of fitness of the product to be delivered to the market.
Qualifications: Strong understanding of Layer2/Layer-3 protocols.
• Experience in software testing and test automation using Expect/TCL, shell scripting, Perl, C on Windows/Unix platforms is preferred
• B.S/M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in dealing and testing complex test configuration preferred.
• Strong background in software testing methodology, test development, test execution and report generation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Quick learning ability
• Excellent teamwork skills
Education: BS/BE/BTECH/ME/MTech in CS/EE/ECE is required
