I've started the build for my Lorei Duo Heated bed, but have run into a problem. The X-axis motor doesn't fit onto the installed "Z-plate". There just isn't enough side clearance on "Backplate" for the stepper to fit into the "Z-plate". It's as if the stepper motor profile cutouts aren't deep enough to allow proper positioning, by almost 1/4". The part referenced is from Figures A2-1 and A2-2 of the build manual/sheets. I always assume it's something silly I've done but there really aren't any other ways this can go together to allow a mistake like this. I've put in a message to Xmachines, but I know they're swamped with emails and tomorrow is Thanksgiving so it will be a few days.

I heard back from them late last night and a replacement piece is on the way. My previous build (I was tired of waiting) was a self sourced P3 Steel Prusa i3 clone. It prints well now but I made many mistakes in sourcing the parts and it isn't what anyone would call pretty. The Lorei is a clean design and appears to be well engineered from a build standpoint which is what attracted me to the project in the beginning. Essentially a well designed printer using standard parts. Whether it's a good value or not is something the user will have to decide. I won't know until it's finished and actually start printing but I'm cautiously optimistic from what I've seen so far.
