Simplify3D settings (Oct 23, 2016)

Ok, I have attached my initial settings for Simplify3D.  You need to import them by using the option in the file menu (File -> Import FFF profile).  It should have correct settings for basic printing of PLA on a Machines Lorei Duo without heated bed.  It's pretty easy to add the heated bed, or modify this to work on an Uno .I can try to do that if people need it, but I obviously don't have a way to test these profiles.

Fixed: Corrected Build volume size.

Changed: Moved the tool offsets to the G-Code panel instead of the starting script

Changed: Tuned the global offsets to try and avoid the bed clips

Is this the profile you are still using for S3D?  It sounds like there was one on the xmachines website, but the site is currently down so I couldn't check.  Got my printer today and have been fooling around with it off and on.

Scott I dont believe this is the latest but it is from the xmachines website so give it a try. Assuming you have a 12x12 duo of course.

I'm working on a new set of setting that has full Simplify3D dual extrusion working properly.  I had some problems with the Xmachines provided ones, but I'm starting to wonder if it's my copy of Simplify3D or their profile that has the problem.  Stay tuned I should have something by the end of the month.

My xMachines Lorei Duo is still my main printer and I had no issues at all despite a fans on one hotend that died on me. I got the dual extruder setup working and calibrated in Simplify3D but never really used it. I think the multimaterial solution from Prusa is superior to a simple dual hotend setup.

Is it worth updating to the latest Marlin 1.x firmware? I am still on my factory firmware because I am not eager to brick this machine. :(
If anyone has the latest firmware for the Dou with heated bed lying around... that would be nice since focus will move to Marlin 2.x and this would likely to be my first and only update. :)
