broken heater filament

Hi all,

  I received my printer on the 23rd and just finished putting it together.  Only a couple issues,  

One of the bowden tubes was way too short, the connector for the Y axis to the PCB was destroyed.  I was able to put on a connector until xmachines can send a replacement.

I wasn't bothered by only having one extruder since I am new to this space.  When I turned it on I was getting "Err: MAXTEMP"  I figured it had to do with the thermister so I checked the connections tried again and got an "Err: MINTEMP".  Long story short, it ended up being the heater wire for the nozzle was broken.  Any idea what gague nichrome wire to replace it with?

Also, I there a way to "disable the second extruder until I get it repaired?

OK, It is the thermistor that is broken, not the heating element.  

I know in the kickstarter comments someone had broken theirs, anyone know what the replacement was?

Err: Max temp occurs when the wires short, and mintemp is when there is no connection at all. Broke one of mine as well. I had a spare laying around I stuck in just to use the other extruder. or you could use a 100k resistor as a jumper (I think, there is probably a better value)

FYI for others, looks like if you talk to the vendor they might send the thermistor without the long connector wire.

This is no longer available on Amazon, but I think I found the same item on AliExpress, just ordered a couple to try out since I burned up one of my originals today.
