Dear Student Society Presidents,
We are well on our way to start the new academic year. The
Engineering Student Services (ESS) is participating in the Week of
Welcome (WOW). This event is scheduled primarily to welcome
engineering students back and new ones to explore career options,
student life and educational enhancement opportunities during this
informal open house sponsored by the College of Engineering.
I know the first week of classes is a crazy time for all of us but I
wanted to extend this invitation to your participation. The WOW will
be a great opportunity to recruit or simply to spread information
about your organization to new eager students.
ESS will set up in the Hall of Flags with refreshments to welcome
students on August 25th thru August 27th, 1:00-3:00 pm. You may chose
to participate any day of the first week or all days. I know of few
societies that will attend. You might want to come up with fun
activity or some giveaways (shirts, etc) to make things a bit
interactive.
Please let me know who is interested and what days you’d like to be
present.
For more information and other events going on around campus during
the WOW, visit the following website:

If you are no longer the student president, please send me the new
contact information!
Thank you,
