I'm 64, and it seems it's difficult to find something that's not too "wedding gown," and that's figure flattering at this age. I ordered my regular size 8 and it fits like a glove. It's very slimming. The soutache detail is exquisite - much lovelier in person. It's also very comfortable on the body. Note that it cannot be shortened due to the nature of the unique soutache detailing. I'm 5'6" and like the length. It's not floor length, but rather pretty much like on the model on me.
