NaiLuv™ 'Going to the Mauve' Gel Nail PolishI used this shade of Nailuv polish with a UV light and products from other brands. Strangely, the color is not Mauve at all; it has virtually no purple in it. This is a hot reddish pink (watermelon) shade with an opaque creme finish. The swatch shown on the right of the screen is far more accurate than the heart on the bottle. Also, the description says it is semi-matte, but it is very shiny, especially after you put the top coat on it. The bottle is very big compared to other brands of gel nail polish, which come in tiny mini bottles. This is a standard half-ounce bottle of polish, so you get a decent amount for the money. The formula is excellent. It is not too runny or thick, and it goes on easily and smoothly. It is also very easy to remove mistakes with acetone as you go, unlike other gels which are nearly impossible to get off of skin. Overall, I am very impressed. I don't think the colors are very accurately named/ listed, but the polish itself is very nice. Of the 4 or 5 brands of gel polishes I have used, this one is by far the easiest to apply.
