Eileen Fisher Bateau Neck Stripe Sweater (Regular & Petite) The sizing in this top is quite odd. I am 5'2", 110 lbs, and I usually wear a PP. The PP in this top is quite fitted on me, not at all loose like usual Eileen Fisher items. By comparison the PS was so large I would have judged it to be 2 or 3 sizes larger. So I think there is some sizing discrepancy out there. That being said, I love the look and the fit of the PP top with a tank underneath. It is very delicate and you have to be careful with jewelry, and the length is somewhat cropped (fitting me at the natural waist.) But the texture is very attractive and gives the piece a great deal of visual interest. It looks appropriate with dress slacks or jeans. If at all possible, I recommend trying it on at the store because the sizing is all over the place. "This sweater is lovely but delicate. Like many Eileen Fisher knits, it's subject to snags; however, the delicate nature is part of its visual appeal. One caveat regarding size--The first XS I tried was too small, but the XS I eventually bought was actually a bit too large for my usual size 4. The unfortunate bottom line is that the EF sizing is somewhat erratic lately. I wear this sweater with the multitiered gray EF skirt and love the look. Of course it also works well with pants. Tank or cami required." It is very sheer and needs a tank of some sort under it but because of that lightness it should be great throughout the summer.
