I am joining this group because I see nothing mentioning my father's family who lived in Wyszogrod for several generations. My daughter went to Wyszogrod several years ago to see what was still standing. Unbelievably, she found my father's ancestral home with a family still living there. The family was so kind to her, inviting her for dinner and insisting that she sleep over because it was too dangerous to take the bus back to Warsaw at night. The family's young son was able to translate.
