I am still looking for my great grandfathers family from wyszogrod.

 The family name was Baum. He immigrated  to Chicago around 1888.

Could her maiden name be Abrahams? I found a David Boam and Sarah Abrahams married in Manchester, England in 1885. You could order the record to see if they list her same father as Abraham.

I know very little about my great father, he died  in 1904 in Chicago, my great grandmother, was born in Belz Poland around 1863-1865, and she died in Chicago in 1945.  My father birth certificate in Chicago (1917), his mother's name was Paulina, but when she became a US citizen in 1911 she showed her name as Sarah Baum.

I was told by my father that my great grandparents were married in England before immigrating to the US.

My great great grand father Abraham Greenstone left England earlier around 1880 for Chicago.

I am sure that Greenstone was not there name originally.

My great grand parents are buried at an enormous Chicago Jewish cemetery( Waldheim) which is very difficult to locate family from the early 1800's to probably the mid 1900's. There is no maintenance at the cemetery if the family does not personally take care of the plots.

No one is still living on both sides of my families..

( Cohen and Baum) The Cohen side are from Lithuania. I have a lot of information regarding the Cohens.

My husband is from London and he will try to find out about the mentioned marriage .

I am going to a meeting this coming Sunday  in newport beach california  regarding tracing Jewish ancestors

My first. time at this temple near my home.

I will let you know if I find further information.

Moreover, family lore states that we had BAUMs in Manchester (or somewhere in the UK…) too. In the early 1910s or so my granduncle Elias-Alec BAUM moved from Lodz to Brussels and eventually established a big textile factory named ANGLO-BELGE de BONNETERIE, apparently following a trip to his relatives in the UK (à the name ANGLO-BELGE).

I am interested in tracking down an early city map of Wyszogrod from the 1880s to 1850s. My family lived on the town square. I even have the house numbers. I would love to trace where they lived.
