I note that you live in Southern California too, I was never able to retrieve the attachment from Sara reference photos of Wyszogrod.  The jpgs was completely garbled etc. Were you able to retrieve the attach file in another way . Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying so hard to find information about my great grandfather ( David Baum) who was born in Wyszogrod and immigrated to Chicago around 1888-1890.

It may well be jpgs, but it came as a zip file with what looks like a garbled title...don't know what the suffix should be...it isn't jpg...I tried changing it to that. The suffix appears to be .zi8, which I assume means zip...

How are you related to the town of Wyszogrod?  Did you have relative from this town? Are any of your relatives the Baums's?

I was never able to get the download to work.

 

I haven't seen anything come in as a zip file in years...I tried changing the ending, but no luck.

Hi to you all. Terissa Schor, my cousin, forwarded on your emails. My grandparents were both born in Wiszogrod.

My grandmother, Yetta Tabacznic was the daughter of Sura Bajla Baum, born 1871 married to Jozef Szapsa Tabacznik. . Her father was Hune Boim married to Hinda Matus born 13/01/49.

If there is a connection I would love to hear from you.

Terissa was instrumental in discovering the family history for me for which I am grateful.
