WYOBMW: Winter Park

A few of us have been discussing the winter park blues festival I suggested a couple weeks ago...   As I promised I'm bringing it up again.

As I thought about it an interesting possibility arose.  A couple of breakfasts ago a trip down to a Beemers and More bike night was discussed.  Since they fall on a Thursday evening that would fit right together with the blues fest and offer some truly amazing riding. 

Thursday afternoon - down to Ft. Collins for bike night.
Friday -  Ride up through Estes Park and Rocky Mtn. National Park ending up in Winter park.  (calling this the 3 parks ride)
Saturday and Sunday - Relax at the Blues fest
Monday - Ride home down the west side of the CO mountains - skirt the Snowy range and home via Laramie.

I might be able to ride down to Ft. Collins on Thurs. as I would like to check out Beemers and More! I will have to ride on to Denver for other business on Friday, so won't be able to go to the Mtns. till Sat., but would like to hook up with you guys when I get to Winter Park!

Too bad about Ray's bike, we thought about it but not able to at the moment, too many irons in the fire as is!

My plans aren’t firm yet but will let you know ASAP. We have breakfast the 19th so we should be able to make final plans then.
