FOY Spotted Towhee

Greetings,

Yesterday, I observed what was later determined to be a spotted towhee in the area below Garden Creek Falls at 1245 pm..  Today, at around 430 pm,  I observed this same individual with a much better view of the front breast and dark head.  It was rather tricky to see through all that thicket of wood limbs.  If any of you are looking for it, I find it on the hiking trails below the falls.  Noontime is a good time for birding as the sunlight hits the bushes.  I hope this helps any who venture to look for it.  Dress warm, walk softly, watch, and listen  -- Rich Weaver
