You don’t want to miss our upcoming free Keynote presentation for GOLD Lactation 2022! This year we are thrilled to welcome Jeanette Mesite Frem MHS, IBCLC, RLC, CCE with her new presentation titled “Fitting Flanges for Pumping: Rethinking Sizes and Materials”. This presentation will be taking place live on May 9th, 2022. If you’re not able to attend live, you’ll have access to the recording so be sure to sign up.
Jeanette’s presentation offers new insights into flange fitting that challenge the way many IBCLCs were taught about appropriate flange sizing. For many years, we have been told to "size up" for pump flange/breast shield size but many parents and lactation professionals are now finding that sizing down is much more effective for comfort, yield and pumping efficiency. This session will show participants many different flange sizes, several different types of flanges and video snippets of real parents pumping with some of them. The session will focus on how lactation professionals can actually do a flange fitting WITH a client, both in-person and virtually.
Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to update your knowledge about fitting flanges for pumping.
Additional Details:
- Jeanette Mesite Frem will present twice on May 9 - Times are designed to accommodate all global timezones.
- Live Q&A immediately following the presentation.
- Public access to the recording until May 31.
- Certificate of Attendance provided. CERPs & other CEUs will be available for full conference participants.

"Hello advocates for breastfeeding families.
I am excited to be attending my second GOLD Lactation Online Conference! I am viewing from home. It is difficult to choose a favorite topic/speaker; I find it inspiring and empowering to learn from others. I quite enjoy the interactive sessions and panel discussions. I look forward to the mandala coloring books and of course the CERPS.
It is a privilege to learn from others and we have a diverse group of speakers. If I must choose, my interest is piqued by Vestibular Processing, Pitfalls, Beyond 12 Months, Ethical Considerations & Guided Steps: Creating Plans of Care. This is not to say that I am not eager to hear every speaker, these are the ones that grabbed my attention first. So excited to be participating and growing as an IBCLC!"
