DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
Duties include (1) contributing to the development of the NIAGADS genomics database;
(2) develop databases for managing individual-level phenotypes and genotypes;
(3) contribute to the development and testing of genomics research software and resources
Qualified candidates should have a Bachelors degree in computer science, bioinformatics, or other related fields and 1-3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills and expertise with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and SQL programming required. Familiarity with R, Python, SAS, C/C++, or web development preferred. Skills and experience with NoSQL databases, integrating web and databases, and/or genomics/genetics data management preferred.ing web and databases, and/or genomics/genetics data management preferred.
