time for an update

Progress on 0.5.3 (currently in svn) does move forward at a slow pace.

Currently, what's in svn is really good for daily use. I have plans to
make a few workflow improvements (largely through shortcuts) and to
put in an address bar with back and forward that is similar to a web
browser. Navigation is quite important and it's annoying to move back
and forth between the navigation and format tab.

Welcome to all who have come from the slashdot comment in response to
the article about a modern LaTeX.

If anyone has any ideas for the software, please post them here. This
is our group, and our place to discuss this software.
