Hi everyone,
I am planning on letting the Police know but wanted to make everyone aware so you can keep an eye out.

My husband leaves for work early (5:30am) and this morning the sidewalks were covered in snow. As he was leaving he noticed footprints leading up to all the cars. We park down a driveway and behind our house as well as the other tenants of our row of houses. There are 8 cars back here. The footprints went up to each car and the door handles had been tried. He followed the prints, there were two sets and came from down Beech st. All the cars down Beech, Pleasant, and Queen streets were checked.

So keep your cars doors locked and if you see anything suspicious, please let the police know. Let's keep our neighborhood safe!

Thanks!
Robyn

Please do report this.  Many others did report the footprints this morning and the police have been following them.  As is normal, these people stick to unlocked cars and did not approach any homes or forcefully enter any cars.  Apparently, people are getting better at locking their cars as nothing has been reported stolen.  This annoyance has been going on for decades in Wyndmoor and there is much urban lore about it.  PLEASE KEEP YOUR CARS LOCKED!

Please be courteous and don't reply to "all" or to the listserve. Take the time to reply directly only to the person you want to thank.

I think hearing all responses is a benefit of being on a list like this.

Yes if the replies contain information. But just 'thank you' clogs up the email if a lot of people reply. We are all grateful for the information and that is why we stay on the list.
