use of pics on wylio

can the pics on wylio be used for commercial purposes such as websites
& videos?

Hi Brendi,

You'll need to check the specific image license to make sure it fits
your needs. You can do this by clicking the "more info" link that is
below the image after you select it.

Keep in mind, even though Wylio only search images labeled as Creative
Commons (and right now we've even limited the parameters to only those
labeled for CC Commercial Use) we can't control the content that is
within the images.

Avoid any images that contain logos, or other trademarked or
copyrighted material and images that contain recognizable people that
you don't have talent releases or waivers for. Don't hesitate to
contact the original image owner/uploader if needed.

If you are still unsure about the legality of the image(s) you want to
use, the best advice I can give is to contact a lawyer, or use a paid
stock image service.
