Good morning!

A quick message from Elaine Guidero, our National Map Liaison at USGS:

The USGS has released new 25K recreational OnDemand Topo maps, available through the make-your-own-map app, topoBuilder. The 25K maps are a brand-new design and highlight recreational features such as trails, federal boundaries, and campsites. The 1:25,000 scale means one inch on the map is equal to ~0.4 miles. Like all USGS topo maps, these maps are free to download and use and can be used with GPS devices and apps.
