Dear friends and colleagues,

UW Giving Day 2025 – an annual 24-hour event supporting learning across campus - kicks off Thursday, October 23rd at 12pm (noon).

The Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center is once again showcasing the Geringer Distinguished Lecture in GIS and Public Policy in our fundraising efforts, honoring former Wyoming Governor Jim Geringer and long-time champion of all things geospatial and providing a platform for knowledge exchange on the critical role of GIS in credible decision making associated with place-based problems.

Please consider helping us reach our long-term goal of establishing a self-sustaining endowment to sponsor this annual event. For more information, visit: https://give.uwyo.edu/schools/UniversityofWyoming/giving-day-2025/pages/computing/wygisc

Thanks for your support!

Thanks for this Jeff! Please consider making a donation! Looks like WyGISC is currently 34% of the way to their goal of having 50 donors, so no matter how much you want to give, it will help!

Here’s the link to donate. Only 19 hours remaining!

Thank you!

Thanks for the bump, Nick. We appreciate WYGEO and your leadership. We'd love to reach our goal of 50 total donations, no matter what the amount received. For those still interesting in supporting this Geringer Distinguished Lecture endowment fundraising effort, consider making your contribution at 10am MST today, when the next $150K in donations made across the university will be matched 1:1 by the McMurray Foundation and UW Foundation Board.   #givingday #GIS #students #everyday-is-spatial
With sincere appreciation- Jeff  Hamerlinck
