Hello, 

The GISCO Mapping Contest Committee would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who participated in the 2026 Mapping Contest! Each of the 11 fantastic entries we received this year can be found on the contest website. It was a pleasure to see the creativity and passion that went into all the submissions. Winners were announced at the Elevations Geospatial summit last week and are listed below. 

Student Cartographic Work: Sam Redmond, Colorado School of Mines
Student Interactive Experience: Brandon Boldt, Front Range Community College

Professional Cartographic Work: Anna Riling, Four Corners Mapping
Professional Interactive Experience: Anna Riling, Four Corners Mapping

People's Choice Award: Jennifer Haller, City of Lakewood GIS Coordinator

We're also grateful to our panel of judges for their expertise in the field, careful consideration, and insightful comments. Their participation is critical to the success of this competition! Comments from our judges are available to contestants upon request.
