wx.richtext.richctrl and cutting enabled

Hi folks,


Quick question regarding wx.richtext.ritchtextctrl.

I see the method .CanCut but how do I enable that?

Is that something that gets enabled on its on with readonly/editable?

If I want a rich text ctrl to be read only, but allow highlighting and
copying is there a way to set that away from readonly?

Hi Nathan,

The act of cutting text implied editing your source, while the act of
copying does not.  I wonder if that's the issue.

Regardless, I can COPY (Ctrl/Cmd-C) from my RichTextCtrl when it's in
read-only mode.  I don't know the status of CanCut() when I do. 
Ctrl/Cmd-X works like a copy rather than a cut in read-only mode as well.
