about the poor of wxDFB demos and samples?

Now , I am using wxDFB in wxWidgets-2.9.0 , and can compile it and its
own demos and samples successfully.
but I find that wxDFB demos result is less poor than that of wxGTK.
especially its color and font , I feel that I seem to be back to
windows 3.1 time.
This quality can't be accpted by commercial production and end user.

Anyboday can run wxDFB on your computer ? your result is good or like me ?
