The macOS screenshots probably need a refresh anyway with latest macOS, which I think went through some significant style changes recently.

In case it was unknown, these have been mostly automated (though not entirely) with:
https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/tree/master/utils/screenshotgen
It could be helpful if more automation was added to switch dark mode and re-run the whole batch.
Likely the Doxygen ALIAS for screenshots would need tweaks too of course.
