Phoenix Project Manager is a project scheduling suite designed for
Project Management Professionals with full support of all standard
Critical Path Method scheduling algorithms, and provides both Gantt
chart and Network Diagram views of schedules. It features a highly
flexible activity filtering system, multi-level budget accounts,
comparisons against past project snapshots, highly configurable work
calendars, a full suite of reports, and import/export with Primavera
3.1, MPX, Microsoft Project XML, and CSV formats.

We're proud to announce the first offering of a Mac OS X version of
Phoenix Project Manager today. While Phoenix focused strictly on the
Windows platform initially, it was built on top of wxWidgets from the
start with plans to eventually release a Mac OS X version. Phoenix is
a true testament to the power of wxWidgets, having spent only 15% of
all product development time working on the Mac OS X version before
release.

Phoenix Project Manager has been out on Windows for over 3 years now,
and has been used successfully on several large construction projects
ranging from $100 million to $2 billion USD. Some of those projects
include the Arizona Cardinals Stadium, the Dallas Center for
Performing Arts, the World Jewelry Center, and the City Creek Center
here in Salt Lake City. While Phoenix is designed for large
construction projects, several home builders have found it useful for
their schedules as well.

30 day trials for both Windows and Mac OS X (Universal) are available
for download here:

Phoenix Project Manager has made several contributions back to
wxWidgets over the last 3 years including the massive re-organization
of the wxWiki that happened around March to September 2006, the new
wxH[V]ScrolledWindow classes in 2.9+, around a third of the work that
was involved with the new user manual available in 2.9+, making wxAUI
work on wxMac before 2.8.0 came out, as well as numerous bug fixes.

We'd like to thank everyone here too for all your work on wxWidgets.

Thanks Bryan, this is quite a staggering example of a wxWidgets app in
the real world - very interesting to hear about it, and of course thank
you for your very hard work on wxWidgets over the last few years! Awesome.

It's really great to see that you were successful with releasing a
production OS X version [relatively] easily!

And we're very grateful for them, both to Phoenix Project Manager and you
personally!

Thanks again!
