wxdfb and webkit

I would like to know how mature wxDFB is to build webkit on top of it.

wxDFB is likely to be missing quite a few things required by wxWebKit but
you won't know which ones (and so how difficult would it be to add them)
unless you try -- to the best of my knowledge nobody attempted this before.

IMO it's not a very natural match though, current wxDFB is mostly useful
for very small embedded systems (although nothing prevents someone from
making it more desktop-friendly, of course...) while WebKit is not exactly
lightweight.

Actually I'm working to have webkit runing on top a linux-based set-
top box
I have already built it using gtk+-directfb but it seems to be slow.
That's why I'm looking for a lighter toolkit.

I've recently noticed that WxWidget has a DirectFB backend, and is
supported by
webkit.
does any one have any benchmark results comparing WxWebkit to
WebKitGTK ?
