Cannot display the first added bitmap in a wxMenu

I use wxWidgets 2.8.10, create wxMenu dynamically, and add each
wxMenuItem dynamically by hand. I set bitmap for several items, find
that the first added bitmap could not be displayed.
Does any one has the same problem, or any explanation?
