Hello,

Many of you have already updated the translations to be up-to-date but
there are a few languages that are lagging behind, see

http://www.wxwidgets.org/about/i18n.php

If you're maintaining translations for one of them (or, perhaps, know
somebody who would be interested in contributing to them), please try to
update them soon as we hope to make 3.0.0 release in October.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Couldn't be better migrating the translation management to something
like Transifex? Updating, following changes on .pot, commiting
translations seems much easier there. it could also be a little help for
them among us who contribute to other l10n projects already hosted on
Transifex.

Cheers,
Besnik

I'm not sure what would be required from our part to use Transifex or
another similar system (quite a few have been proposed in the past). In any
case, as long as we can easily get the .po files with the translations, it
doesn't matter where do they come from -- currently people send them by
email to me but I could also get them from some web site. So basically feel
free to use whatever you prefer, but I don't think we're going to be able
to really standardize on anything.

There has been an unofficial project setup for wxWidgets there for a while here:
https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/wxwidgets/

Only problem is that it's unofficial right now, so we're not pulling
updates down from there to the SVN repo.

I have been thinking about polling this list about how everyone felt
about making Transifex the official workflow for translations for a
while now, but I do have my reservations mostly based on not wanting
to actually require a translator to register on Transifex if they
don't want to. On the other hand, I'm sure it's simple to still accept
translations using the current traditional way, and pulling them into
Transifex ourselves.

I just haven't really looked too deeply at it yet though.

Hello,

I had a quick look over the missing German translations.
A patch with the changes is attached.
