I suggest that after the 2.7.2, we bump everything to 2.8.0
so if a release candidate is good enough, we just need to
change the homepage and rename the files (more or less).

Ok, thanks! I won't be online tonight, could someone else (Julian? Robin?)
please release the files on SF? Also, I think this release still merits an
announcement, even if it's going to have a very short life, so I hope
Julian can post it as usual -- sooner the people see it, more time they will
have for testing.
TIA!

wxWidgets-2.7.2-HTB.tar.gz
wxWidgets-2.7.2-HTML.tar.gz
wxWidgets-2.7.2-PDF.tar.gz
wxWidgets-2.7.2-HTB.zip
wxWidgets-2.7.2-HLP.zip
wxWidgets-2.7.2-CHM.zip
wxWidgets-2.7.2-PDF.zip
Also readme-readme-2.7.2.txt should be renamed readme-2.7.2.txt.
(This is all for the next release, that is.)
Also also, if the setup.exe could have the CHM documentation as per
2.6.x, that would be nice.
Thanks,
Julian

I added the 2.7.2 by hand - the ones built on windows do have both main
wx and 'extra' help files (thanks, Julian). The ones built on unix have
not been updated (html, htb). I don't think i will have time to do
anything different for 2.8.0
Can someone perhaps point out where they are

I thought I had done this, but evidently not. (sed in preflight.sh)

setup.exe just has the wxMSW checkout (no samples, no help).
chris
the docs are unchanged, so should not need uploading again
Sorry it has been so slow

Files uploaded to SF at last - I only did the tar.gz ones for the unix
platforms; if you want the bz ones too let me know

i hope we can get the bugs out and not introduce any new ones for 2.8.0
when will we srelease this ?
chris
Many thanks! I don't think bz2 is crucial for everything. I see there's
a wxWidgets-2.7.2.tar.bz2 - shall I keep that or is it an old one to be
deleted?

No, this has "everything" so the smaller size may help some downloaders

RC1 should be next monday
Thanks,
Stefan
I think it's fixed.

This is a good idea. I'll take a look at setting it up.
