Regression in wxAUI layout (Issue #26113)

Well, this breaks xLights. :(
Some of the Panels in xLights are now not resizing. They are stuck at a really large size.

vadz left a comment (wxWidgets/wxWidgets#26113)Sorry, I just can't understand what could the problem be here, even after spending several hours on this code, and I can't reproduce it, so I'll finally just close it without doing anything.
@dkulp If you can either provide a reproducer or debug this in xLights or provide any other information that would help me to fix this, please do. But for now I give up.
