Still think this should be done @f18m ? 😄

hey @tierra , it's been such a long time!!
According to my math computations 2026 - 2009 = 17 years ago :D
And this raises another question actually in my brain: should wxWidgets adopt some stale-issue GHA workflow ? :)
Issues like this one that didn't receive comments or up-votes in 17 years are probably safe to auto-close in a shorter time :)
This said, I'm very happy to see wxWidgets project still doing great!
Keep up the great work 👍

If we did this, we wouldn't have the pleasure of hearing back from people 17 years later :-)
More seriously, I think a lot of issues could indeed be closed without losing anything, but OTOH it does no real harm to keep them opened and I think false negatives (i.e. closing the issues that shouldn't be closed, even despite remaining open for a long time) would be worse than false positives (i.e. issues that remain open despite being fixed or simply not relevant any more).
But perhaps we could ask some LLM to close, or at least identify, the issues that are clearly outdated...

Certainly expected to just close this up (I was just reviewing old docs tickets since wrapping up another doxygen upgrade), but I noticed you're still very active on GitHub. It's nice to hear from you again.
