Thanks, I'll integrate this into #26714 as it does work, even if Doxygen documentation seems to say that it shouldn't. FWIW I've looked at Doxygen change log and the last documented change to \htmlonly behaviour in it dates from 1.8, so it's not something that was fixed in a later version.

As an aside, could you please use more informative commit messages for your changes? "Update $file" is really not great as commit messages go, please see the usual guide for some inspiration. TIA!
