While investigating a problem with someone who can't subscribe (and hence
post) to wx-dev and so tried to do it via Gmane, I've somehow managed to
make it work again, at least my last message has appeared in its archives:
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.wxwidgets.devel/114875
All I did was to manually add the already subscribed but "not verified"
gmane address once again. I have no idea why was the address not verified
before nor why does it work now but I'm really glad it does because Google
Groups search (!) is completely broken and so now I can use Gmane again for
both reading the archives, which is nice, and searching them, which is
critical.
Unfortunately all messages from Jun 13 until today are probably lost for
Gmane archives, at least I don't think there is any way to import them but
please let us know if you know anything about this.
Thanks,
VZ
I think that the gmane folks can import an mbox file if you send them
one that has the messages that need to be added.

Ah, this is nice. Unfortunately creating such an MBOX is not going to be
totally trivial as it would need to be combined piece-wise from my wx and
trash folders somehow. But it still seems doable.
Or maybe there is some way to get MBOX from Google Groups directly?

Indeed it seems to be working : my previous message was sent using Gmane.
In fact it's simple : in order Gmane to be able to forward the message
to Google groups, the sender's email address should be known and authorized
to post in the Google group. Now I registered at Google-groups it works.

Not that I know of.
