This will have to be fixed in some other way because we're going to need to revert the origin fix as it broke existing code, as shown by the example of Poedit.

The problem in Poedit was finally due to a bug in wxGTK which was fixed in df51ec8 (Merge branch 'dvc-null-values', 2022-05-11), see #22409, so nothing needs to be done here, sorry for the noise due to reopening and now closing it again.
