LegalizeAdulthood left a comment (wxWidgets/wxWidgets#17029)I checked this against the current tree and this appears to already be fixed by 4fc2630, "Fix restricting both min and max size of MDI children in wxMSW."
The current wxMDIChildFrame::HandleGetMinMaxInfo() in src/msw/mdi.cpp lets DefMDIChildProc() compute the MDI child bounds, then returns false so normal wx frame min/max size handling still runs. That matches the fix described in the historical commit and covers the reported SetMinSize() plus SetMaxSize() case.
